Heather Hyatt is a visual artist whose work is in oil, graphite and sculpture. The themes of her works include trompe l’oeil of guns and lingerie in shadow boxes, portraits using myths and metaphors and three-dimensional sculpture in bronze and mixed media. She has had solo shows in the Yukon and been included in group shows in Montreal, Atlin and Whitehorse.
Heather studied for a three year BFA at Concordia University in Montreal from 1987 to 1990 after which she returned to the North. She has been a member of Yukon Artists At Work for five years.
