Pat is best known for her work with natural fibres, fur, beads, and photography. Her photographs capture the extraordinary beauty in everyday objects and scenes – light caught on an old lantern, a prairie dawn or the morning sun caught on a Tuscan tree.

Pat recently returned to the Yukon after a sojourn in Manitoba for 10 years. While there, she had solo exhibitions in Winnipeg and was part of many group shows in the city. She has also exhibited in rural Manitoba, Ontario and the Yukon.

Pat has studied with painters in Canada and Europe to enhance her artistic expression, including Francesco Fontana, renowned fine art painter of Milano, Italy, but she is mostly self-taught.

Her latest experiment is combining original photographs on canvas with beadwork which emphasizes lines and colours of the photographs and shares the global use of beads. She had a one-woman exhibition of 30 of these works at Arts Underground in March, 2017.

Most recently, Pat showed her exhibition “Honour and Reverence, For the Land, the Animals and the work of Women and Men” at the Northern Visual Arts Centre in Flin Flon, Manitoba and at the Cre8ery Gallery in Winnipeg (January-February 2022).

Pat has shown her Wearable Art at Unfurled Fur Show in Whitehorse, 2018; The Dawson City Fur Show, 2019; The Whitehorse Fur Show 2020; Joint exhibition by the Northern Fibres Guild at Arts Underground in Whitehorse in 2020; Cranberry Fair 2019 and 2022; pop-up Christmas Fair at Hellaby Hall, 2022.
