
Dan is a Whitehorse-based artist who began painting in 1985 as a hobby. He has spent the past 40 years working on his technique.
Dan lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba until 1998 when he and his family moved north. He spent the next 10 plus years living in Nunavut and Northwest Territories before settling in the Yukon in 2010.
He has always been drawn to nature, the majesty of mountains, and the beauty of the outdoors. He is currently concentrating on capturing the magic of the aurore borealis in his art. He works in oil on canvas or wood slab. His paintings are in private collections across Canada.
