Makisha Page is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans tattooing, painting, graphic design, and ceramics. Originally from Cowansville, Quebec, and currently based in Whitehorse, Yukon, her art has been exhibited and commissioned across Canada, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe and South Korea.
With a diploma in Graphic Design earned in 2004, Page began her career creating logos, music posters, album artwork, and digital media. Over the past decade, she has become known for her vibrant, neo-traditional work, characterized by bold lines, rich colour palettes, and illustrative detail. Her current practice includes acrylic painting, wearable art, and ceramics, while she is also well known for creating colourful, highly personalized pet portraits and commissioned artwork that capture the character and personality of her subjects.
